LIGHTING REPLACEMENT & ADAPTIONS
C&T Electrical Ltd. can supply and install lighting and carry out adaptations for all types of commercial & industrial sectors.
Should the fittings be drastically different (tube lighting to normal bulbs for example) we will issue a test on the circuit(s) involved and provide a Minor Works Certificate to confirm that the work has been completed in accordance with the current British wiring regulations.
Additional sockets or re-location of sockets may require extending the existing circuit. C&T Electrical Ltd. will inspect and test the existing circuit to ensure that it is capable of being extended to carry the additional load and that there are no faults. Once completed, we conduct another test to the circuit and issue a Minor Works Certificate to confirm that the work has been completed in accordance with the current British wiring regulations.
LED LIGHTING
C&T Electrical Ltd. are experts when designing and installing LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting, having carried out many installations throughout the West Midlands.
All of our LED lighting products and installation work come with a 1 year on-site warranty meaning that should if of the products we install fail within this period, they are replaced completely free of charge.
LED installations are not only a brighter and more efficient lighting system but for commercial customers, can save money as they can last more than 25 times longer than traditional light bulbs.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING
In the unexpected situation when the mains power supply is disabled and any normal lighting fails, the emergency lighting in the premises is there to illuminate the rooms and in an emergency, can help guide the occupants to the nearest exit points.
C&T Electrical Ltd. can install emergency lighting systems for various commercial & industrial premises including offices, warehouses, schools, retail, restaurants, HMO’s and many other environments.
All of our emergency lighting installations are compliant with British Regulations and our engineers will carry out the necessary installation work with the minimum amount of disruption to you and your customers. You will be notified in advance of any potential disruption.
INSPECTION & TESTING
In any workplace, Inspection & Testing is a legal requirement in the UK. However, frequent inspection of your electrical systems is certainly recommended to keep your business and staff safe in the working environment.

Our highly experienced team have carried out a full range of electrical testing on many commercial & industrial environments from small offices to huge industrial warehouses where there are hundreds of electrical circuits.
We are NICEIC approved contractors, so you can rest assured that your business premises will be tested to the absolute highest standard and we will notify you of appropriate recommendations based on the results of the testing.
C&T Electrical Ltd. can also provide Portable Appliance Testing (also known as PAT testing) on all your electrical appliances within your business premises for peace of mind.
